The Equinox Dawn

The winter's veil begins to lift, As day and night in balance shift. The golden sun ascends the sky, To wake the earth where shadows lie. A gentle breeze begins to sing, And whispers of the coming spring. The emerald buds upon the tree, Unfold their leaves for all to see. The frost dissolves in morning dew, And paints the world in vibrant hue. Rejoice, the vernal light is here, To bless the turning of the year.
