The winter's frost begins to fade, Beneath the sun, a warmer shade. The sleeping earth begins to wake, And ice melts on the quiet lake. Green shoots emerge from darkened soil, A gentle end to winter's toil. The birds return with joyful song, To places where they all belong. A sudden burst of vibrant bloom, Dispels the lingering winter gloom. With every breeze, the world is new, A joyous spring is breaking through.
